Initial Postpartum Evaluation
Your first postpartum session is all about meeting you where you are — whether you had a vaginal delivery or Caesarean section and whether you're six weeks postpartum or several months out (or years). We’ll start with a conversation about your birth experience, current symptoms, recovery so far, and any concerns or goals you have. Then, we’ll move into a physical assessment that includes posture and movement patterns, breathing mechanics and core coordination, diastasis recti (abdominal separation) check, and a pelvic floor evaluation (external and internal, if you're comfortable). At the end of the session, we’ll discuss a personalized plan for your recovery, including how often we should meet and what you can start doing at home to support healing.

Follow Up Visit
Each treatment session is tailored to your needs and how you're feeling that day. We’ll check in about any changes in your symptoms or goals, and adjust the plan as needed. We will focus on:
Gentle manual therapy to support healing, reduce pain, or address scar tissue
Core strengthening exercises to rebuild strength, stability, and coordination
Breathwork and body mechanics to support daily movements, lifting, and caring for your baby
Education and lifestyle adjustments: ergonomics, sleeping modifications, bladder retraining, etc.
Support for return to activity, whether that’s walking, running, lifting, or simply feeling more like yourself again
New moms have it tough enough so we want to work with you to develop a home exercise program that is sustainable and motivating for you!

Payment
We are an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not work with any insurance companies and are not bound by their limitations. Payment is collected at the time of service, so you won't receive any unexpected medical bills from us. Your sessions will be one-on-one, allowing us to focus entirely on your needs—something that traditional insurance models often restrict. If needed, we can provide 'superbills' for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement, but please check with your insurance company for their specific requirements and your out-of-network benefits. You can also use your FSA or HSA accounts. We accept all major credit cards, checks, cash, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
We don’t want the cost to prevent you from receiving the care you need. If payment is a concern, please let us know and we can discuss some options!
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 48 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of sessions so it can give someone else a chance to book that slot. You can modify your appointment directly on the online booking portal as long as it is up to 48 hours before your session. After that, please contact your provider via email to notify them.
A no show or late cancel less than 48 hours will be charged a $100 fee. This fee does not apply for illness or medical emergencies.
