No provider–patient relationship
Using this website, completing the Birth Plan Builder, or buying a course does not make you a patient of Lumina Pelvic Health LLC or Dr. Meilin Yang, and does not create a provider–patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you schedule and attend an appointment and complete our intake paperwork.
Birth Plan Builder
The Birth Plan Builder helps you organize your preferences into a document you can print or download. It does not evaluate whether a preference is right or safe for you. You are responsible for discussing your plan with your OB, midwife, doula, or other care team, and for following their guidance during labor and birth. Your answers are stored only in your browser (see our Privacy Policy), so keep your own copy.
Online courses
Course purchases are one-time payments processed by Stripe. Access is for your personal, non-commercial use and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed. The price, what is included, and the refund terms for each course are stated on that course's page at the time you buy; those terms apply to your purchase.
Acceptable use
Please use the site as a normal visitor would. Do not try to break into accounts or systems, scrape content in bulk, interfere with how the site works, copy or republish course materials, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may block access to anyone who does.
Limitation of liability
The site and its tools are provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Lumina Pelvic Health LLC is not liable for any loss or harm that comes from relying on information on this site, from using the Birth Plan Builder, or from the site being unavailable. If you paid for a course, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
