Plain-language notes on what we collect, why, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

Lumina Pelvic Health LLC is a pelvic floor physical therapy practice in Seattle, Washington. This policy covers luminapelvichealth.com and the tools on it, including the Birth Plan Builder and our online courses. It does not cover care you receive in the clinic, which is governed by the notice of privacy practices you receive as a patient.

What we collect on the site

Most of the site is read-only and collects nothing about you as an individual. The places where you can hand us information are:

  • Contact, workshop, and waitlist forms. Your name, email, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to reply, to hold your workshop spot, or to let you know when something opens up.
  • Course accounts. If you buy an online course, we create an account tied to your email so you can sign in with a one-time link. We keep a record of which course you bought and which lessons you have completed.
  • Payments. Course payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We receive your email, the amount, and a receipt reference.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 across the site, including the Birth Plan Builder, to see which pages people visit and how they found us. It receives page views and clicks only, never your answers or your email, and we have turned off Google Signals and ad personalization. Course pages use PostHog for product analytics (for example, whether a video played) so we can fix what is not working.

Birth Plan Builder

The Birth Plan Builder asks about your pregnancy, your health history, and your preferences for labor and birth. That is sensitive information, so the builder is designed to keep it with you.

  • Your answers stay in your browser. They are stored only on your device, in your browser's local storage, and are never sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes them. If you switch devices or browsers, your answers will not follow you.
  • What we do receive. When you unlock your printable plan, the only information sent to us is your email address, your first name, and a record of the consent wording you clicked through. Nothing about your answers travels with it.
  • How we use it. We use your email to unlock your plan and to send occasional pelvic health tips from Dr. Yang. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time.
  • Who processes it for us. Loops (our email provider) and Supabase (our database provider) store and process your email, first name, and consent record on our behalf. Neither receives your answers.
  • Analytics. Google Analytics records that you visited the builder pages and that you downloaded or printed a plan. It never receives your answers or your email address.
  • Cookies. The builder itself does not set tracking cookies. If you are already signed in to a course, the site's login system may refresh your session cookie while you use the builder. On preview (non-public) versions of the site, our hosting provider, Vercel, may set a toolbar cookie for our team.

How to delete your information

Email us through the contact page and tell us which email address you used. We will delete your information within 45 days, including copies held by the providers who process it for us. Birth Plan Builder answers are only on your device, so those you delete yourself by clearing your browser data or using “Start over” in the builder.

Washington consumer health data rights

Under Washington's My Health My Data Act, you have the right to ask what consumer health data we hold about you, to ask us to delete it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page. We will not treat you differently for exercising them.

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use geofencing around any facility to collect data or send messages. The Birth Plan Builder is built so that your health answers never leave your device, which means we do not hold them and cannot share them.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. For meaningful changes to the Birth Plan Builder, we will also update the consent wording you see before unlocking a plan.
